Important

When a team comprises of more than a Professional and one amateur the team will incur a penalty of two strokes, if at the designated starting time they cannot fulfill the scoring requirements of the event:

i) Where the Professional is marking an individual score and the Professional is late then no penalty is applied to the team score providing that the team could fulfill the Pro-Am scoring requirements assuming that the professional was present. A penalty of two strokes shall be applied to the Professional's individual score.

ii) The team shall only commence play if the professional and the minimum number of amateur partners required to fulfill the scoring requirements are present.

iii) If a team cannot fulfill the scoring requirements of the event at the time of the last starting time the team shall be disqualified. Exception to this clause will be in the instance of a Professional not being ready to commence play by this time and if in these circumstances the team can fulfill the scoring requirements of the event then they will be permitted to play without the Professional. If a team commences play under these circumstances then any player may join the team on the course upon his arrival.

Note: When both Professional and the team are subject to a two stroke penalty for lateness on the tee, the team total for the first hole will be increased by two shots prior to any penalty being added to the Professional's individual score for that hole.

Starting

All competitors are required to arrive at their starting tee 10 minutes prior to their start time. This is to allow the starter to provide pin positions, local rules and additional information to each player. This also ensures that all team members are present and able to start on time.

Professionals and male amateurs will play from the white Tees and Ladies will play from the red Tees.

Buggies

All competitors will be permitted to ride in buggies during all pro-am days.

Transfers

Transportation will be provided to and from the airport to the Intercontinental Aphrodite Hills Resort (shuttle service from the airport to the hotel and vice versa, available on Tuesday May 29th and Wednesday 30th, as well as on Sunday June 3rd).

Slow Play

For everyone's enjoyment we ask for each team to “keep up with the team in front and not in front of the team behind”. If a player is not going to score on a hole please "pick up". Teams who lose 2 holes on the match in front may be penalised 2 strokes applicable to the team score. Each team is permitted 4 hours 30 minutes to play 18 holes, an average of 15 minutes per hole.

It will be the professional's responsibility to ensure that the team's pace of play adheres to the guidelines of the Tournament Director.

Play Foreshortened or Cancelled
