Aegean Airlines, creator and major sponsor of the 5th Aegean Airlines Pro-Am, invites you, for the fifth year in a row, to its successful international golf tournament. The golf tournament is endorsed by the PGAs of Europe and the PGA of Greece and fully supported by the Hellenic Golf Federation.

Aegean Airlines dynamically contributes to the reinforcement of quality forms of tourism in our country, through the said initiative, and at the same time to the evolution of a highly prestigious international athletic institution under the auspices of the most acknowledged golf professionals' association in Europe.

The 5thAegean Airlines Pro-Am will be held during June 2 - 5, 2010 at the luxurious Dunes Golf Course, in Costa Navarino, upon its opening! Costa Navarino is located in the Greek region of Messinia in the southwest Peloponnese, one of the most unspoiled and breathtaking seaside landscapes in the Mediterranean that has been shaped by 4.500 years of history. The impressive 18-holes seaside Dunes Course has been designed to provide an exciting challenge for golfers, measuring almost 6200 meters from the back tees and a little more than 5000 meters from the front tees.

Since its emerge and during the last four years the Aegean Airlines Pro-Am has attached players (professional and amateur golfers) from all over the world (13 countries in 2006, 16 countries in 2007, 12 countries in 2008 and 14 countries in 2009). Mr. Liam Bond from the United Kingdom, Mr. Henrik Engdahl & Mr. Morgan Olofsson from Sweden, as well as Mr. Paul Nilbrink ranked first in the professionals' individuals category during the 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th Aegean Airlines Pro-Am respectively, whereas the winning teams of the 1st and 2nd Aegean Airlines Pro-Am were the ones of the Keele Golf Centre of Staffordshire, U.K. (2006) and the Golf Club Afantou, Rhodes (2007) and the Woodhill Country Club, South Africa (2008) for 3rd Pro Am . For the 4th Pro- Am the winners were from Natura Pura/Axis Golf.

The 5th Aegean Airlines Pro-Am is open to a maximum of 45 teams, made up of one Professional and three Amateur partners.

This year's event offers a substantial €60,000 purse for PGA professionals and exceptional gift-awards for amateur competitors. The first winning professional will receive the Aegean Airlines Pro-Am Trophy along with a €6,000 cheque.

Participations will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
